Dear Ms. Green,
I am writing with regard to your recent request for information to Kent
Police. I am conscious that you have not yet received a response to your
request and for this failure in our service I apologise. Unfortunately
this unit has been experiencing staffing difficulties and this, coupled
with a substantial increase in requests, has resulted in a need to operate
a queueing system and a number being processed late. These issues are
approaching resolution and we hope to be able to resume normal service in
the very near future.
I apologise again for the delay and I can confirm that your request is
receiving attention and the response will be provided as soon as possible.
Many Thanks
