At the moment we are still working as a Carmarthenshire Prescribing
Advisory Committee, but looking to amalgamate with Pembrokeshire &
Ceredigion divisions of Hywel Dda trust over the next few months. This
makes the decisions on managed entry of new drugs & formulary
We have been working on developing a joint Carmarthenshire formulary but
at the moment we have only reviewed the CV section & wound care
(attached). However this may all be up for review as we move towards a
Hywel Dda Area Prescribing Committee.

From the LHB perspective the following people attend the committee:
Myself or one of our pharmacists
Medical Director- Terry Davies or Associate Medical Director- Mark
Barnard
Deputy Director of Finance- Jean Reynolds

The facilitator for the group is Sue Beach, Pharmacist at Hywel Dda
trust (Carmarthenshire Division)
