Cycle lanes on Oxford Road corridor

Chris Jenkinson made this Freedom of Information request to Manchester City Council

The request was partially successful.

From: Chris Jenkinson

17 March 2008

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please could you inform me a) how recently and b) how regularly the
cycle lanes heading north and south between the centre of town to
Withington along the Oxford Road corridor are both reviewed and
resurfaced. Also, could you inform me what steps are taken by the
appropriate authorities to deter motor vehicles from driving and
parking in solid and dashed white line cycle lanes, and how many
fines or other penalties have been issued as a result of this?

Yours faithfully,

Chris Jenkinson

Hello Chris,

I'm wondering if you ever followed this up with a request to the police?

I was thinking of submitting a similar request when I found this one. Yesterday I took some pictures on my ride home:
