system, we have never had a parent acting as an escort on official home
to school transport.

helpful. However, it does not answer the whole question, which is :
how many times has the Council seen fit to demand of a parent, by
virtue of their being a parent, a CRB check for some purpose of the
Council's ?

How many times has the Council seen fit to demand of a parent, by virtue
of their being a parent, a CRB check for some purpose of the Council's?
- As stated previously none.

Please find attached a copy of our CRB procedure, please note the
council does not or never has CRB checked a person for the simple fact
that they are a parent. There are certain conditions that must be met
before a CRB check has to be carried out. The conditions are employment
related. The details of which are contained in our policy documentation.
