Craighouse campus; pre-sale due diligence.

We're waiting for Peter Maxwell to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Napier University,

RE: Craighouse campus; pre-sale due diligence.

In relation to the sale of the Craighouse campus to Craighouse Limited (Isle of Man) / MoREOF.

Please supply by return a copy of any due diligence reports Napier University hold in relation to the sale of the estate at Craighouse.

You previously supplied under separate cover a redacted copy of a document created by GVA Grimley, that document is to be deemed excluded for the purposes of this request, i.e. I am not asking for the same records in two different requests.

I understand that the sale of an estate of such size as Craighouse would involve some due diligence and assessment exercises, that is what is sought in this request. If you are unable to supply the requested records due to FOISA exemptions, please supply a list or index of any such records or documentation you do hold.

If you require further specifics for this request, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Maxwell

Dear Napier University,

RE: Craighouse campus; pre-sale due diligence

Thank you for your response of the 2nd May 2012.

I would like to request a review of your response.

You stated,

"The only record that is relevant to your request is the GVA Grimley Report which has previously been issued to you. Please be advised that the University holds no further relevant records."

The GVA Grimley report I was previously furnished with was a preliminary report before a full decision was made, dated 23rd September 2010. It recommended MoREOF Seeker Ltd (Mountgrange) and Grosvenor be called for an interview on the 13th October that year.

So presumably, there will at an absolute minimum be a further report detailing how the final decision between Grosvenor (who were at that point scoring higher) and MoREOF/Mountgrange was made.

In any instance, I find it highly improbable that the only due diligence reports Edinburgh Napier University hold in relation to disposal of such a sizeable asset is a very light 14 page document.

As such, I would be obliged if my request be reviewed.

Thank you for your continued assistance.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Maxwell
