Dear Mr Fitzsimons

Further to your recent Freedom of Information request which we received on
10 February 2010, please find our response below.

A complete list of suppliers/contractors and consultants that have been
used over the past year when procuring IT Software and the total spend on
IT Software during the past financial year.

Please find attached details of software that has been purchased centrally
for corporate projects. In addition, service areas make their own
purchases with the support of IT services but records are not held
centrally. To further analyse records records across the authority is
estimated to take more than 18 hours of staff time to collate, which would
exceed the appropriate cost limit for Local Authorities of **450 (for
providing information under the Freedom of Information Act). Therefore, on
this occasion, we are unable to meet your request in full.
Details of IT Contracts Managers and any person(s) involved in IT Software
procurement.

Shropshire Council does not have an ICT Contracts Manager
Head of ICT is Kevin Malone
Procurement Manager is Nigel Denton
