Council salaries over £50,000 pa

Dear Mr Silverman

I am writing further to your Freedom of Information request below.

Whilst investigating our response to your request a few questions have
arisen regarding the information you are requesting. Therefore before
we can respond we require you to provide further clarification of the
information sought.

In particular.
a) are you seeking basic salary or total earnings over a year
b) if you are seeking total earnings over a year are you seeking that
based on the calendar year or the financial year
c) can you specify the year in question. If you are seeking the
information for the current financial year then it is important to note
that this information would not be available until the end of April
2010

This request for clarification is made pursuant to S1 (3) of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 and we are under no obligation to
respond to your request until the further information is supplied.
