Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to request details of expenses claimed by all staff
currently employed by the Council for the last 4 years. For
clarity, I do not want information on teachers or consultants, only
staff directly employed by the Council.
For each person, I would like name, job title,
Directorate and Service, current salary and details of total
expenses claim per year and full details of any expense claim
exceeding £250.
If you cannot release names due to Data Protection rules, I would
still like the rest of the information.
Yours faithfully,
Simon Kay

The County Council have also failed to name the staff employed in social services departments. These are public servants employed to ensure disabled people get the help and care they need, yet we are not allowed to know who they are!

Contrast local authorities reluctance to identify officers with the contents of the central government reference that is the "civil service year book" - despite its limited availablity - for example it is no longer bought by Warwickshire County Library service.
Many local authorities do produce their own internal pocket sized reference year book for the benefit of members/councillors etc.
