it looks as if you have to give a name according to the Scottish Information Commissioner's website , So what does 'p' stand for ?

I have been in communication with the information commissioner for scotland, and as my privacy outweighs the query, I will not proceed.
I will say that this enquiry is the first one where I have been asked for my first name, bearing in mind revealing your first name generally determines your gender.
