public local inquiry in respect of an application for outline planning
permission for a golf course and resort development on land at Menie
House, Balmedie, Aberdeen, together with a breakdown of those costs.

I can confirm that the total costs of this public local inquiry amounted
to £58,198.55 and attach as requested, a breakdown of the costs as
follows:

+ Cost of Room Hire for pre-inquiry meeting on 26/3/08 within Aberdeen
Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) = £2, 648.35

+ Costs for Room Hire for Public Local Inquiry from 9/6/08 - 4/7/08
within AECC = £49,651.49

+ Car Hire Costs for Reporters = £684.32

Breakdown:

6-7 June - £35.13

9-20 June - £252.04

23-28 June - £152.75

26-28 June - £91.65

30 June - 5 July - £152.75

+ Van Hire Costs for transportation of inquiry documentation = £117.83

+ Costs for placing public notices detailing arrangements for
Pre-Inquiry Meeting (PIM), Public Local Inquiry(PLI) and also
requirement for further Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) =
£5096.56
