Richard Taylor made this Freedom of Information request to Cambridgeshire County Council
The request was successful.

Could you please release the amount spent by the council in the
financial year 2008/9 on placing statutory notices relating to
highways a) in newspapers and b) elsewhere.
I would like to request a breakdown both by publication and type of
notice (the latter only if the council classifies them in some
way).
Many thanks,

Dear Mr Taylor,
I am writing to inform you that we will be sending you the information
you have requested under EIR/FOI, tomorrow. The request has taken many
hours to collate and unfortunately my colleague who deals with statutory
notices was not at work at the end of last week due to personal reasons.
I hope that this minor delay does not cause you too much inconvenience
and hope to send you the information tomorrow.
Kind regards
Anna

Green Tip: A running tap wastes 6 litres of water a minute. If everyone
in the UK who currently leaves the tap running when they brush their
teeth turned it off instead - we would save 446 million litres of water.
That's enough water to supply 2.9 million people for one day - that's
the entire population of Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield for
one whole day!
