and/or charged explicitly, please provide estimates based on

Regarding your foi request I can give you the following information which is held by this council:

* £27,000 for development and design of website, plus a monthly fee for hosting. I am still trying to get the details regarding the cost of the monthly fee and who the provider is, and I apologise for the delay.

We do not hold the other information in the format which you have requested regarding development, design, updates, changes, hosting, co-location, domain registration,licencing etc. Subsequently, you may wish to re-word your foi request.

In relation to staff time spent on this we do not hold this information.

As FOI refers to actual information already held, your request to provide estimates based on salary and overheads is not an FOI request. Unfortunately I am not in a position to provide estimates, but only information regarding information held.

Dear Lynn,

Thank you for the information provided, and I look forward to the
follow-up on the monthly fee and the provider.

In relation to the information which is not held in the form that I
requested, I am certainly willing to reword my request in order to
get the information, but as you have provided no information about
what form you _do_ hold the information in, that is rather
difficult.

I note that the Act does place a requirement on the Authority to
assist me in this matter, so I would appreciate some indication as
to what information you do hold, and in what format, so that I can
then request it!

In relation to the staff time spent, can you explain what
information you hold that would help someone make such an
estimation: for example staff timesheets recording time spent on
website work, job descriptions that allocate a certain amount of a
staff member's time to this function, logs of internal usage of the
site, etc. I would find it very difficult to believe that you hold
no information whatsover as to which staff members have performed
work related to the website and how much of their time has been
spent on this.

Good evening Mr McBride

I am only aware information held to which you already refer i.e. job
descriptions and salary scales and grades of staff. I am not aware of
any other information held, nor of any timesheets detailing the hours
that staff have spent on the website. However, I have e mailed the
Director of the relevant department to see if he is aware of any other
information which could assist you and will be in contact again with his
response.

The Director of Development Services has responded to-day with the following information.

1. Provider = EG Consulting
2. Cost £110 per month
3. Two Staff in his department have been involved in this project i.e. Customer Services Manager and Customer Services Officer.
4. Worksheets for these two members of staff should have been completed. Would you like me to request copies of these for you?
5. The Director has not specified any other information held which could assist you and I am not aware of anything else which we would hold.

I will forward copies of the two job descriptions mentioned above.

Dear Lynn,

Thank you for this extra information. In relation to the
worksheets, yes, please request these. It is unclear to me whether
these are general worksheets relating to everything these staff
members do, or are specific ones relating to the website. If it is
the former, than I am, of course, happy to only receive the parts
relating to the site.

I note your comments regarding estimates not falling strictly under
FoI, but I will however note that I would instead be willing to
accept even a very vague estimate of the proportion of these
people's time spent on this work if it is easier for you than
processing the worksheets.
