The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Can you please detail, for each year since your public website was
launched, how much money has been spent on creating, developing,
and running it.
Where possible, please break these costs out by function (for
example, development, design, updates, changes, hosting,
co-location, domain registration, licensing etc). Where the costs
have been incurred with external providers, please list the company
in question. For internal staff time, if this is not recorded
and/or charged explicitly, please provide estimates based on
salary/overheads of people involved.
Yours faithfully,
Nick

Dear Mr Mc Bride
On behalf of Council, I apologise that you have not received a request
on your query.
I have checked my records and I can confirm that I have never received
this request. Would you be so kind as to clarify if your original
request was sent to this address or if not was it sent directly to an
officer? Some mail does become trapped in our spam filter but this is
unlikely to be the case in this instance, as your e-mail dated today did
get through.
I look forward to your feedback. Be assured however, that I will now
forward this request to Mr Paddy Cosgrove, who is responsible for IT and
who will provide a response to you at the earliest opportunity.
Yours sincerely
Sharon Maxwell

Dear Mr McBride,
Apologies for the delay in responding to your query. Our file management policy does not require the Council to retain financial records beyond 6 years. As our website was developed in 1999/2000 we have no records of the cost. I did contact the supplier and they have come back to me with their record of the transaction. I just got this information today, which explains the delay.
Creating the website- £10850 Feb 2000
Developing the website-£0 per annum
Running the website- £1200 per annum
The costs are not broken down by function that you have specified i.e. development, design, updates, changes, hosting,
co-location, domain registration, licensing.
Internal staff time is not recorded explicitly for time spent on the website. Based on guestimate of people involved, I would speculate that it may cost £1000-£1500 per year.
The company involved is Tibus Holywood House, Innis Court,
Holywood, BT18 9HF, Northern Ireland.
