Dear Michael

Ordnance Survey reference: 68559

I am writing to let you know that Ordnance Survey holds the information
you requested from us in your email dated 28 June 2008 for copies of all
correspondence in 2007 and 2008 between Ordnance Survey and Mandate
Communications Ltd, part of the Engine Group of companies.

There are a substantial amount of documents and I have been asked to
redact the name and contact details of Mandate staff in line with the
section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). At the same
time I am also redacting those names of Ordnance Survey staff below
civil service Unified Grade 7 (in line with Ministry of Justice
guidance). This is taking much longer than anticipated. Therefore I
would like to seek your agreement for an extension for me to carry out
this work?

I anticipate that I will be able to provide all copies at some point
next week (beginning Monday 4th August). I trust that this will not
inconvenience you too much.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Regards

Tony Gray

Dear Michael

Ordnance Survey reference: 68559

I have all the copies I am able to release regarding your request for
correspondence between Ordnance Survey and Mandate Communications ready.
However as there are a significant number of documents, the only
practical method to get them to you is via Royal Mail. It is
impracticable to scan then into pdf and/or WinZip as it would overload
our email system and probably yours as well.

Consequently, please can you provide me with an address so that I can
send them to you ASAP.

Many thanks.
