Dear Sir or Madam,
Under the Freedom of Information Act you should have replied by to
my FoI request. You are breaking the law. Do you really want me to
head on over there and make some kind of citizen's arrest on the
Permanent Secretary, Mr Housden? Don't think for a moment that I
won't do it.*
Yours faithfully,
Charles Andrew Harrison
* - I am - of course - attempting to be humorous but I would much
very appreciate a reply to my FoI request at your illegally late
but earliest convenience.

Dear Mr Harrison
Please find attached a response to your request for information which was forwarded to "[FOI #13399 email]" on 6 July.
Unfortunately this e-mail address was not recognised and we had no other contact address to which to send the response. Clearly this could happen again potentially in this instance.
I appreciate that you may not therefore see this e-mail either. However, for the record, if this second attempt fails we will endeavour to contact "whatdotheyknow" to advise them of the situation.
Regards
Martin Harding
