conviction and non conviction data supplied to Interpol

John Anderson made this Freedom of Information request to Strathclyde Police

The request was successful.

From: John Anderson

31 October 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

As i understand it, details of people who have been convicted of
serious criminal offences ie: murder, Serious sex offences and
terrorist acts etc are uploaded to Interpol (and in my opinion
rightly so) to allow border security in other countries I wish to
know if less serious offences are uploaded, for example Breach of
the Peace etc. I also wish to know if a person was found not guilty
or acquitted of a minor offence like a Breach of the Peace would
this be supplied to Interpol.

Yours faithfully,

John Anderson
