of the Police and Criminal Justice Act 2001 and which are currently
in force, together with a copy of any maps which show the extent of

Dear Mr Fuller,
On 22 July 2008 I made the following request to you under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000:
"Please could you provide me with a copy of all the Designated
Public Place Orders made by your authority under sections 12 to 16
of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 and which are currently
in force, together with a copy of any maps which show the extent of
the the area covered by each order?"
On 23 July you sent me an acknowledgement. I should have received a
substantive reply to my request by 20 August, 20 working days after
my request was made. As yet I have not received such a reply.
Can you please reply to my original request? If you are not able to
provide me with the information that I asked for immediately,
please provide me with an estimate of when you will be able to
supply the information, as well as an explanation of the delay.

Thank you for your email received on the 22^nd July 2008 requesting a copy
of all the Designated Public Place Orders made by Croydon Council under
sections 12 to 16 of the Police and Criminal Justice Act 2001. We are
considering your request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act

There are four Designated Public Place Orders in Croydon. Attached are
maps of the areas covered in the Orders. I have also attached spreadsheet
showing date the Orders were granted.
If you are unhappy with the way the department has handled your request
under the Freedom of Information Act, you may ask for an internal review.
You can do this by outlining the details of your complaint and either
