Please could you provide me with a copy of all the Designated
Public Place Orders made by your authority under sections 12 to 16
of the Police and Criminal Justice Act 2001 and which are currently
in force, together with a copy of any maps which show the extent of
the the area covered by each order?

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - Designated Public Place Orders
Thank you for your request for information received on 22 July 2008.

The Act defines a number of exemptions, some of which are subject to a public interest test that may prevent release of the information. We have introduced one order under Section 13 of the Act (Designated public places). This is a borough wide controlled drinking zone with the exceptions of the Royal Parks of Regents Park (within Camden), Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath. Unfortunately we do not hold any relevant information in the form of a map.
