When Ragwort is identified on council owned land it is treated with Round
Up Pro Biactive 450. The spraying programme would be 2 x applications
between April and October. Our only identified high risk area is a
highway verge at Newton Road, Great Barr adjacent to a horse riding
stables. It will be weed treated during September and it will be
monitored in the future.
