to end on March 2009.

4. Please also advise on whether a new post March 2009 Reed Managed
Services contract/framework agreement is being considered by Halton
Borough Council? If so please provide a copy of this newer
document.

Dear Mr Blair,

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

Please find enclosed the information you requested.

1. Contracts with Reed, Halton utilise Liverpool CC Framework Agreement
with Reed Managed Service, please see attached Invitation To Tender
Document which contains the contract T & C.

2. The above information is the only contract that Halton have with Reed
Managed Services

3. The above contract went through the EU Procurement Regulations 2006 and
was advertised on the OJEU - Official Journal of the European Union,
requesting expressions of interest, PQQ - Pre Qualification Questionnaire
issued, PQQ evaluated and a shortlist created, ITT - Invitation To Tender
Documents issued to shortlist, Evaluation of returned Tenders, Award , 10
day cooling off period, Contract Award. The new contract will go through
an Open Procedure and be advertised in the same way as above on the OJEU.

4.This contract expires March 09, Liverpool CC will again be the lead
authority for this contract renewal and publish a new Invitation To Tender
on the OJEU during February 2009, details will be available on
[1]www.liverpool.gov.uk , search contract opportunities, the lead officer
is Steve Boyd, contact details are available on Liverpools web page.
