From: Alison Perry

Dear Sir or Madam,
Could you please give some guidance for research?
It has been confirmed to me by HMRC with reference to the E(14)
handbook for employers that employees may continue to work in a
second job when needing to refrain from the other job.
Could you please direct me to the statutes or case law which
support this right for employees?
Also, is it possible for the employer to deny the employee's right
in this case?
Yours faithfully,
Alison Perry
