Dear Mr Todd,

Thank you for your request for information.

As I am sure you are aware, the Waste PFI Contract is a very large
document and sending it via email is not a practical option. I am happy
to copy the documents onto a CD and post it to you.

Please could you provide me with a postal address to send the CD to?

I await your response.
Kind regards

Dear FOI,

Thanks for your reply.

Unless the document contains binary information (images, movies,
sound) it is rare for it to get larger than 1Mb. Can you give me an
estimate of how large it is? I understand that my mail system can
receive files of up to 20Mbs without any problem.

If emailing still remains a problem, I can arrange for a friend in
Cambridge to collect it on a USB stick and save the postage.

Yours sincerely,

Julian Todd.

Dear Mr Todd,

The Waste PFI Contract is made up of around 48 Schedules each saved in
PDF format, one of which is around 190MB.

I am happy to copy the information onto a CD for collection rather than
posting, if you would prefer.

Kind regards
Sarah.

Dear Sarah,

My friend, Francis Irving, who is one of the developers of the
WhatDoTheyKnow system and lives in Cambridge, says he can phone you
shortly to arrange a collection of the CD or on any other media
form.

This presents a challenge to the system, so makes the issue quite
interesting.

Yours sincerely,

Julian Todd.

Francis Irving left an annotation (13 September 2008)

I tried putting the CDs up on the website, but it was too large for the current code to handle. I'm working on where/how to put them up instead.
