Dear Sir or Madam,

Hello I hope you are well,I would like you to help me with the
following two questions..

1a - If any form of company ,organisation ,authority, person or
group of persons is listed on DUPORT (Companies House)is it's legal
status a COMPANY?

1b - If any of the above are listed on DUPORT (Companies House) are
they BOUND to operate only under CONTRACT LAW?

2- If a Company is BOUND to operate under CONTRACT LAW can they
LAWFULLY demand monies/payment etc from another party (2nd or 3rd
party for example), if the other party/s have never agreed or
consented to enter into any contract whether Tacit,Implied or any
other etc, and have never asked for a contract?

Many thanks for your time and I await your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Dear J Garratt,

Thank you for your email.

The Law Society is not covered by the Freedom of Information Act but has
adopted it's own voluntary code of practice (link below).

http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/documents/d...

The Code covers all information held by the Law Society. Information
includes, for example, agendas, minutes or other papers prepared for our
Council, Boards or committees, consultation documents, and reports (see
section 7 of the Code).

You ask the following:

"1a - If any form of company ,organisation ,authority, person or
group of persons is listed on DUPORT (Companies House)is it's legal
status a COMPANY?

1b - If any of the above are listed on DUPORT (Companies House) are
they BOUND to operate only under CONTRACT LAW?

2- If a Company is BOUND to operate under CONTRACT LAW can they
LAWFULLY demand monies/payment etc from another party (2nd or 3rd
party for example), if the other party/s have never agreed or
consented to enter into any contract whether Tacit,Implied or any
other etc, and have never asked for a contract?"

Your questions are requests for legal advice. The Law Society as an
organisation does not provide legal advice.

I am sorry I am unable to help on this occasion.

Yours sincerely

Dear Information Compliance,

It surprises me (or maybe then again it doesn't) that the legal
body that regulates the legal profession does not give legal
advice? or is it just because i am not a paying punter in need of
help?

Yours sincerely,

J Garratt
