Dear Sir or Madam,
What was/is the cost of fitting the metal window grilles to Ivy
Farm - Arrowe Country Park, fitted this week.
Who pays? Paid?
Did this proposal, to spend, if paid by Council, go through any
committee? If so, which/when?
Has this 'assett' been 'transferred'?
Are negotiations taking place, now, to sell/lease to any particular
group/body/individual. Name of 'purchaser/lessee involved please.
Have contracts/transfer been completed?
May the Public view the contract? Now.
In the event of 'sale/lease/transfer', will The Authority remove
the 'Shaw stone', a piece of our Community history, our heritage,
from the Conservatory.
If negotiations/contract in process, what covenants to be included
to maintain heritage features.
Yours faithfully,
Valerie Curtis 'Chair' FRIENDS OF ARROWE

Good Afternoon
Thank you for your recent email below. The grilles were paid for by the Friends of Ivy Farm. They are groups of young people who have experienced the benefits of a stay at the farm and wished to 'put something back'. They are also responsible for the complete, over the past 4 years, renovation, re-decoration, refurnishing and refurbishment of the premises having done much of the work themselves besides using contactors. They have fundraised to pay for this work, including the grilles, and taken advantage of Youth Opportunity Grants. Cost of the grilles was £1,640.00.
This asset has not been transferred and there are currently no negotiations taking place regarding the premises. I hope you find this information of use.
Yours Sincerely
Jane Corrin
