Dear Ministry of Defence,

Can you please provide me with a copy of the rules and criteria
under which it is decided whether or not armed forces personnel can
qualify for support from the Continuity of Education Allowance
(CEA) scheme.

Please also let me know for the last three years:

a. What the total expenditure on CEA was in each of those years
b. What proportion of the CEA expenditure has gone on private
schools in the UK in each of those years

I am happy for this request to be answered based on either calendar
or financial years, depending on which is easier.
