Further to my email yesterday acknowledging your request I have been asked
to seek further clarity:-

1. I would be grateful if you could be more specific about what information
relating to healthcare funding payments you require?

I have received information about 'top-up' fees:-

2. Yes, we do pay top up fees to care homes where there is a clearly
identified care need requiring additional staffing or input, but not just
because the care home charges more than the locally agreed rate.

Dear FoI,

I would like some clarity as to what the funding is for continuing
health care in a nursing home environment. E.G. in Sheffield the
basic rate is made up of £372 basic funding plus £103 Funded
Nursing Care, making a total of £475 per week. If you have a range
of CHC funding then I would appreciate the range within the PCT.

Dear Ms Wall

In response to your request I have been informed that the Trust has a
similar arrangement to Sheffield i.e. the local Authority rate + high band
nursing care, currently totalling £487.

I hope that this response is to your satisfaction and would be grateful for
any comments you may have in relation to the service provided.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,
you should write to the Complaints Manager at the address below.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the ICO
cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure.
