Could you please tell me how many times the ICO has been in contact
with Westminster City Council regarding late replies (after 20
days) to FOI requests and reiteration of the FOI law since August
2008, both informal and formal?
Could you please also tell me how many (if any) times Westminster
City Council have been contacted by the ICO for late replies to
FOI's relating specifically to motorcycle parking?

I write further to your request for information concerning contact with
Westminster City Council. As you are aware your request has been dealt
wit in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Request
Your request asked:
Could you please tell me how many times the ICO has been in contact
with Westminster City Council regarding late replies (after 20
days) to FOI requests and reiteration of the FOI law since August
2008, both informal and formal?
Could you please also tell me how many (if any) times Westminster
City Council have been contacted by the ICO for late replies to
FOI's relating specifically to motorcycle parking?
Information Held
I can confirm that in the time period specific we have written to
Westminster City Council on three occasions in relation to compliance with
the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Two of these were concerning
responses being sent outside the 20 day statutory time for response but
neither were concerning information relating to motorcycle parking. Both
these letters were sent at the initial stage of the complaint and did not
result in a decision notice.
For information all decision notices are published on our website and you
can search by public authority. Although outside the scope of the Act to
date two decision notices have been served on Westminster City Council.
