Dear Sir or Madam,
Please confirm whether construction waste such as soil has been
transported from the Olympic site to the Calvert, Buckinghamshire
landfill by rail.
If so please provide the following information:
Copies of any Landfill Tax Contaminated Land Certificate of
Exemption applications submitted to HMRC in connection with any
contaminated soil being transported
The total tonnage and descriptions (and/or EWC codes) of material
disposed of by this means to date
How many rail journeys have taken place to date to transport the
waste
The date the first such journey occurred
How much, if any, of the waste was classified as hazardous

Thank you for your request for information. Your request has been logged
and has been allocated for a response to be prepared. We aim to respond
to all requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 within 20
