Dear House of Commons,
The UK is a Constitutional Monarchy. Elizabeth is the UK's
Constitutional Monarch. Please give me details of the recorded
information you have on the CONSTITUTION that Elizabeth is the
Monarch of?
We regularly hear her publicly say "my Government" so, you, by your
very nature, must be the elected upholders of the aforementioned
Constitution...
From my research, the ONLY constitution I can discover is the Magna
Carta 1215 and the Bill of Rights - both of which appear to be
subverted daily by 'governmental legislation'.
Therefore, which 'constitution' is Elizabeth Monarch of, please?
If you don't hold this information, please inform me who does.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Sarah

Dear Agent
Thank you for your email. You ask "which 'constitution' is Elizabeth Monarch of"
This is not a question that can be answered by reference to recorded information held by the House of Commons. I am sorry, but I cannot think of any other public autority which could respond to this question within the terms of the FOI Act.
While I am not endorsing it in any way, Wikipedia has an interesting article on the concept of the consitutional monarchy, which may assist your research:

I think your being a bit harsh Mark.
I think that was rare human response from Mr Castle. Might have been extracting the proverbial but I think it was refreshing. Made me chuckle anyway.
Get out while you still can Bob. :)
