Considerations of Gerrymandering/Bias.

Paul Perrin made this Freedom of Information request to Parliamentary Boundary Commission for England

Waiting for an internal review by Parliamentary Boundary Commission for England of their handling of this request.

From: Paul Perrin

13 January 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

It seems to be generally accepted that a national 10% lead by the
tories in a general election would result in them having a majority
of about 30 seats in parliament; whereas a national 10% lead by
labour in a general election would result in them having a majority
of about 140 seats.

I am interested in any concern that has been expressed about this
disparity, if so then what conversations took place regarding it,
what the outcome was and what action (if any) has been (or is
being) taken to address the issue.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Perrin
