Dear Sir or Madam,

Re: Land South of 95 Boleness Road, Wisbech, Cambs.

The above land has recently been sold by Fenland District Council,
and construction work has commenced on this site.

This area was previously used as allotments, and access was gained
from an entrance in New Drove.

These allotments had been in constant use for in excess of fifty
years, and as such would have been considered as Statutory
allotments (on the advice of a DETR 1998 report), requiring the
consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government
and the Regions for change of use or sale.

Please could you tell me at what date was this consent received by
Fenland District Council.
