Congestion Charge Analysis - Revenue and Congestion - Annual Reports

Kevin Lawrence made this Freedom of Information request to Transport for London

The request was partially successful.

From: Kevin Lawrence

21 October 2010

Dear Transport for London,

It appears that TfL has ceased producing annual reports into the
impacts of the Congestion Charge.

Please confirm that the list below is correct, and that there have
been no more annual reports produced.

Please provide a list with their dates and whether published or
not, of the reports TfL has produced, which analyse the impacts and
effects of the Congestion Charge.

In particular, please provide a list and copies of any reports
which explain why this annual series of reports is no longer
published.

What would be the summary conclusions of the impacts and effects of
the Congestion Charge for the 2 annual periods which would have
been covered by the 2009 and 2010 Reports?

Specifically, what has been the effect year by year on journey
times across the zone, both the original one and the western
extension?

Relevant weblinks are quoted below.

Dear Mr Lawrence

Thank you for your email dated 21 October 2010, regarding Congestion Charging reports.

You are correct that the Impacts Monitoring reports are no longer being published. Instead, analysis of Congestion Charging is contained within the wider scope of the Travel in London report, the latest of which is available at: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/c... (or from the TfL homepage by following the links to: "Corporate", then "Publications" [under 'About TfL'], then "Travel and Performance"). You can find information relating to Congestion Charging from page 281 of the report onwards which I believe should address your queries.

If you have any further questions after reading this though, however, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Thank you for writing to TfL.

Yours sincerely

William Pettitt
Correspondence Investigations Officer
