Dear Mr Preston
Thank you for your email.
I can confirm that the National School of Government holds the requested information.
I hope to be able to reply to your request by the end of this week. If this isn't possible I will notify you.
The National School was formerly a non-ministerial department. However, since 1 April 2011 it has formed part of the Cabinet Office. As such, the organisation is required to process FOI requests via Cabinet Office and, in most instances, secure appropriate clearance before responding to enquiries.
Yours sincerely

Dear Christopher Mallett,
You indicated that you would respond, belatedly, to my request by
today but haven't done so. I can only assume that the National
School of Government does not wish to publish the information that
it holds and is deliberately withholding information in
contravention of the Freedom of Information Act.
Please therefore provide copies of emails and documents produced by
National School of Government staff in respect of my original
request.
Yours sincerely,
Mick Preston
