Condense Pipe regulations

D. Speers made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Energy and Climate Change

Department of Energy and Climate Change did not have the information requested.

From: D. Speers

24 September 2010

Dear Department of Energy and Climate Change,

I have been informed that the limestone crystals used in soak-aways
will need to be replaced at some point do to the acidic nature of
the condense water from boilers.

I eventually had a soakaway fitted by a Warmfront contrator, less
that a metre from my house and it is cemented in under a flag
stone.

I was not advised about changing the crystals and wondered if you
could provide me with a copy of the Policy/guidance that Warmfront
are expected to work to.

With thanks
Yours faithfully,

D. Speers
