Conclusive Map of Open Country and Registered Common Land

George Counsell made this Freedom of Information request to Natural England

The request was successful.

From: George Counsell

9 July 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please will you provide me with the following information relating
to the Conclusive Map of Open Country and Registered Common Land:

1) The GIS Layer/Shape files for mapping area 3 that contain the
conclusive OC and RCL data.

2) If the OC & RCL layers/shape files are linked to external data
sources, what sources do they link to and what data (brief overview
is acceptable) do these sources hold.

As I am aware that GIS information can be large in size, if the
data I have requested is larger than that which can be burnt onto
several DVDs, I am willing to present myself at your Bristol
Regional Office with an external hardrive.

Yours faithfully,

George Counsell
