concessonary travel

Robert Eriksohn made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Transport

The request was successful.

From: Robert Eriksohn

28 January 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to under the FOI act to request information relating
to the prevision of concessonary travel passes for people with
mental health issues.

In preparing the concessonary travel scheme what consideration was
given to extending the scheme to include people registered as
disabled with a local authority under the catergary of mental
health user or survivor?

Can you include copies of all relevant minutes and discussions
including those at ministerial level, unless this would be a
diperposonate cost in which case please provide a summery of said
meetings/ discussed?

What guidance if any has the DFT issued to concessonary travel
authorities regarding the issue of such passes to those with mental
health issues?

Has any consideration been given to extending the scheme in future
to include those registered with a local authority as disabled on
mental health grounds.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Eriksohn
