Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS made this Freedom of Information request to Audit Commission
The request was successful.
From: Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS
17 December 2008
Dear Sir or Madam,
A number of Council's have identified that the Audit Commission and
its appointed external auditors have certifified that their
complaints systems are fit for purpose. A number have identified
that the LGO has met this role. this is denied by the LGO.
Please provide details of all Council's where this has occurred,
and copies of all procedures / guidance etc. used to provide the
auditor with the required assurances.
In anticipation that you don't hold the required information and
will be requesting clarification from a number of Council's.
Yours faithfully,
Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS
