Dear DWP Adelphi Freedom-of-Information-Request,
Thank you very much for the information you have provided .
If the dwp and the Job centre plus is part of the crown you mention
about the hm treasury fund if customers have a claim against your
office for maladministration
Can customers put thier own amount of compensation to this other
goverment department ?
Also what forms are required to fill in and if thier is one it's
process .
If a Jobcentre refuses to sign any notification will a Job centre
accept the notice of the claim for value on full commercial
liability ( I guess then this would be similar to an affdavit but
at the same time cut cost's to a minium .
Where is Mr Smith based please and please provide his office
address and email address if he has one for the public interest so
people can email him thier problems also
Yours sincerely,
david

Dear DWP Adelphi Freedom-of-Information-Request,
Please send a full and complete list of any other solicitors you
use other than the one you have mentioned .
Also you have failed to answer my previous questions fully .
Please also provide the compensation form to fill in or where
people can recieve it from exactly and what is the name of the form
or code for it .
Also what is the maxium compensation anyybody has been awarded for
office corruption .
Also is there any case law where anybody has succesfully won
against your department and if so where is it ?
Also what exactly is the relationship between the job centre plus
and the dwp your slogans says part of the dwp etc but i would
actuall like to know the real reason behind this ?
as like many people know the job centre is a private limited
company and so is the dwp so if these both are private limited
companys what is the link between the two is it run by the same
person or by something else entirly ?
Yours sincerely,
david

Just wondered if you work for the dwp etc @lee
Staff admitted it's a private company
Lee Jaques left an annotation (18 August 2010)
I've worked for them before, but not currently.
Obviously I don't know who you spoke to, but they were wrong. They may have been referencing one of the many private organisations DWP has contracts with (when I say many, I mean hundreds!)

Dear DWP Adelphi Freedom-of-Information-Request,
Please provide a full disclosure as to what company solicitors
represent the job centre plus a full list will be perfect.
Also are you fully aware of any present court cases pending that
members of the public may be issuing againt the department ?
Also i would like to know again what is the maximum amount of
compensation that the dwp or the job centre can award the person
say for example office maladministration and breach of human rights
and figure will do perfectly
How many complaints do the chief exec actually read if any ?
can the dwp appoint a solicitor to help the public with it's case ?
reason for the question you mentioned about contacting a law
society which only seems to protect your interest and not that of
the general public
the citizens advice give you a contact number who then give you a
list of solicitors and when you mention to them about compensation
they do not want to know .
within my local area a majority of the solicitors only deal with
crimininal law ie if a person assaults staff etc
where as this is civil solicitors are reluctant to touch this .
also heres another query then to add to the list a potentially
violent person but not a violent human being how ever you want to
define this in law
surely then as a person or a person is classed as potentially
violent then wouldn't they be classed a crimininal then there fore
be entitled to criminal lawyer to issue proceedings againt the
department
there is approx 1500 plus information relating to many customers
complaints and beyond regarding issues on a daily basis
and would love to know a full true response rather than some made
up crap
Yours sincerely,
david

The DWP is a central government department headed by a cabinet minister (Iain Duncan Smith MP). The responsibility for the day to day running of this department falls to the Permanent Secretary (Sir Leigh Lewis).
As such, the DWP is 'owned' by the UK government.
Jobcentre Plus is an executive agency of the DWP. It is responsible for the administration of working age benefits. Jobcentre Plus reports directly to the minister of state for employment (Chris Grayling MP). Chris Grayling MP in turn reports to Iain Duncan Smith MP. Day to day running of Jobcentre Plus is the responsibility of it's Chief Executive (Darra Singh).
As Jobcentre Plus is a part of DWP, it is also 'owned' by the UK government.
Both departments contract some services (such as premises management and Welfare to Work programmes) to private organisations, however both DWP and Jobcentre Plus remain entirely in public hands.
