Please inform me of
1. The number of complaints made against senior officers (Chief
Constable, Deputy Chief Constable and Assistant Chief Constable) of
Cambridgeshire Constabulary in the years 2006 and 2007.
2. If there were any complaints please inform me of their outcome.

Dear Mr Jarman,
I refer to your email of 10 Dec 08 in which you set out your request for
information as follows:
“Please inform me of
1. The number of complaints made against senior officers (Chief
Constable, Deputy Chief Constable and Assistant Chief Constable) of
Cambridgeshire Constabulary in the years 2006 and 2007.
2. If there were any complaints please inform me of their outcome.”
The information requested follows:
In 2006 there were five complaints against Chief Officers (4 against the
Chief Constable and one against the Deputy Chief Constable).
In 2007 there were two complaints against Chief Officers (1 against the
Chief Constable and 1 against the Deputy Chief Constable).
There were no complaints against the Assistant Chief Constable.
I attach below an extract of the Police Authority’s complaint register
(with complainants’ names removed) which gives details of outcomes.
