Complaints about aviation operating from Redlands Airfield Swindon

K.Lacey made this Freedom of Information request to Swindon Borough Council

The request was partially successful.

From: K.Lacey

26 August 2011

Dear Swindon Borough Council,

In August 2011 Richard Bell of the Planning Department produced a
report into Redlands Airfield, Wanborough, Swindon in which he
recorded complaints about noise from aircraft using this airfield.
These complaints relate to noise from microlights, microlight
training by Clearprop Microlights, and a skydiving plane operated
by Skydive London. Not all letters or emails of complaint were
recorded in the report.

How many letters of complaint were received from 1 June 2011 to 12
August 2011?

How many complainants were there? (A married couple would count as
two complainants)

Where are complainants located? For example, Albourne, Chiseldon,
Wanborough etc.

How many complainants were there from each area?

Yours faithfully,

K.Lacey

23 letters of complaint were received by the LPA from 1 June 2011 to 12

follows:

Wanborough:           6

Swindon:                   4

Aldbourne:                4
