Trevor R Nunn made this Freedom of Information request to Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council
The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Pre-question clarification: A complaint against a council may
consist purely on an administrative error or it may also include a
potentially criminal act and/or infringements of a complainants
civil rights (legal and/or human rights).
Therefore, I would like the following information, over the last 12
months, as a percentage of total complaints against the council how
many ended up being dealt with by,
1)the Local Government Ombudsman?
2)the Police?
3)Solicitors and/or the courts?
Yours faithfully,
Trevor R Nunn

Dear Togay, Sue,
Thank you for your response to my Freedom of Information Request,
however, you have my name and email address and that is all I am
required to supply you with. If you don't believe me please ask the
Information Commissioner.
Please send me the information without further delay. To suggest
that the three percentages I require are not in electronic format
is ludicrous. Just how long does it take to type in three numbers?
Yours sincerely,
Trevor R Nunn

Dear Mr Nunn, Under the Freedom Of Information Act 2000, the ICO states
that it is not necessary to create new information in order to answer a
request even if this can be easily done from other information that is
held.
The information available at this end did in fact involve two department
one of which was a hard copy log. Therefore in response to your request,
over the last twelve months, the total number of complaints received were
73 of which one was dealt with in the County Court and 13 dealt with by
the Local Government Ombudsman. None were dealt with by The Police.
If you are not satisfied with this reply, you have the right to make a
formal complaint, in the first instance, through the Council's Complaints
Procedure which can be found on the Council's website
(www.crewe-nantwich.gov.uk). Should you continue to remain dissatisfied
following this course of action, you can make a further appeal against the
decision by contacting the Information Commission, Wycliffe House, Water
Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5AF.
