Could you clarify the subject(s) on which you are seeking information about complaints?
To explain, there is no central recording of all types of complaints received across the Department. Some business areas which are 'public facing' have co-ordinated complaints processes - e.g. Social Security and Child Maintenance and Enforcement record and report on the numbers, types and outcomes of complaints received. Other business areas, such as Housing, Urban Regeneration, Human Resources and Finance (with are not 'public facing') handle complaints (when received) as normal correspondence and do not collate details.
Would you be happy to receive information regarding the collated complaints received by the Social Security Agency and Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division?
