I am responding to your recent Freedom of Information request on behalf of
Sheffield City Council, Children and Young People's Service. The response
below has been provided by the complaints team of the authority. If you
have any further enquiries about this response please contact me directly.

Unfortunately we are only able to provide a breakdown for April 09 to
present as prior to this this level of information was not recorded in the
Access database. Therefore, the information for April 2005 - 31 March 09
is the total number of complaints received about the whole of Children's
Specialist Services.

1st April 05 to 31st March 06 = 128
1st April 06 to 31st March 07 = 129
1st April 07 to 31st March 08 = 117
1st April 08 to 31st March 09 = 132
1st April 09 to 31st March 10 = 13 complaints about the Children and
Disabilities service area
