You Freedom of Information request received in this office on 21 December
2010 has been assigned to me to respond to. Before I can respond to the
request I would be grateful if you could clarify whether you are just
asking for the cost of the actual investigation or whether you are
requiring further cost information. If your request is for
information beyond the cost of the investigation could you please supply
details of what costs you actually require.

The 20 working days in which the Council has to respond will pause
until clarification is received. If clarification is not received within
three months your request will be cancelled.

I write further to your Freedom of Information request received on 21 December 2010 and the further clarification received in this office on 13 January 2011.

In answer to your request I can confirm that the approximate cost of the Standards Board Investigation amounted to £3284.10. I am only able to provide an approximate cost due to the fact that the Council does not carry out time recording.
