Dear Mr Walker,
I refer to your email of 3 January 2009 and your complaint about our failure to respond to your original enquiry. I am sorry, it would appear that your request of 30 October 2008 was not received by this Authority.
In relation to your enquiry below about those public servants in your organisation who are Common Purpose graduates, I am able to confirm that the Authority does not hold any documentary evidence relating to this request.
The Authority also does not hold any documentary evidence on its Members or Staff attendance at any Common Purpose courses.
I hope that this response answers your questions.
However, if you are unhappy with the decision regarding your request for information you should write to me. I will arrange for an officer who has not had any involvement with this request to review our decision. If you are still unhappy after that, a further request can be made to the Information Commissioner, who will decide whether the request was dealt with in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. Further information is available on the Information Commissioner's website: www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk.

Dear Yvonne Peart,
http://www.mpa.gov.uk/default.htm states:
"The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) exists to make sure that
London’s police are accountable for the services they provide to
people in the capital."
In that case, I draw your attention to my email complaints of
2008-10-30 and 2009-01-03 entitled "Complaint - public servants -
Common Purpose - Seven Principles of Public Life" about how all
Common Purpose 'graduates'(members) who are public servants breach
ALL the Seven Principles of Public Life as set out by the Committee
on Standards in Public Life.
http://www.stopcp.com/cpbreachestheseven...
In your capacity as overseers who "make sure that London’s police
are accountable for the services they provide to people in the
capital" and in view of the extremely serious allegations that I
have made, I request that you
1. provide details of your policy regarding the investigation of
allegations such as these;
2. explain the reasons for your obvious reluctance to investigate
these allegations of corruption and provide details of what
investigatory actions you intend taking;
3. provide copies of all correspondence that your organisation has
had, either internally or externally, regarding my complaints of
2008-10-30 and 2009-01-03.
Yours sincerely,
John Walker

Dear Mr Walker
I am responding to your email of 27 January to my colleague Yvonne Peart.
In relation to your three questions:
1. The MPA does not have a written `policy regarding investigation of
allegations such as these'
2. The MPA is not an investigatory body and would not investigate
allegations of corruption such as you have made. If you consider that
there has been corruption or criminal activity I am afraid you must
address those concerns elsewhere
3. There is no correspondence internally or externally in relation to
your complaints of 30.10.08 or 3.1.09
Yours sincereley

Why not?
Wouldn't your Common Purpose masters like it?
