Community Work
Sandra Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Justice
The request was partially successful.
From: Sandra Smith
24 August 2011
Dear Ministry of Justice,
Can you please provide me (for all years available) for each
probation trust area:
- the number of individuals starting a community sentence
- the average community sentence length for community payback
- the number of individuals with a community payback (unpaid work)
element to their sentence
- the total number of days sentenced
- the total number of days worked
- the total number of days "stood down" (i.e. cancelled for any
reason)
- the total number of community payback requirements completed in
full
Cost-permitting, I would also like to request a list for each
probation trust area of those organisations who carry out /
organise community payback on behalf of the probation trust. If
this additional data is not held by MoJ/NOMS, you have my consent
and I kindly request you transfer it to the agency or agencies who
do hold or are likely to hold the data.
I would like the above in Excel format.
Yours faithfully,
Sandra Smith
