Dear Sir or Madam,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Manchester City
Council's handling of my FOI request 'Communication with Curacao
organisation'.

Having made the original request on 23rd February it is deplorable
that the cities authorities have yet to even acknowledge receipt of
the request.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is
available on the Internet at this address:

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Corker

Thank you for your email.

May I apologise for the failure to acknowledge receipt of your request and
also your reminder email of 25th March 2009. Having made enquiries as a
result of your latest email of 15th April, it appears that it had been
mistakenly assumed the correspondence was being answered by another part
of the authority. I am very sorry for this unfortunate misunderstanding
and the fact that you have not been kept informed of the progress in
handling your request.

I have today contacted the officer who is dealing with your request and I
understand that he will be responding no later than Wednesday 22nd April.

Please accept my apologies for the delay but I understand there are
reasons for this which will be explained in the response.

Once you have this, if you remain dissatisfied we will of course ensure
that the review you have requested is undertaken.

My first priority has been to ensure that the response to your request is
completed as quickly as possible.

Your sincerely

Dear Stephen Clark,

In your reply dated 21st April you stated that you would be
requesting from the Curacao organisation a copy of the user needs
survey submitted by Manchester to Curacao.

Could you update me on any progress made on this request?
