Dear Mr Walker
Thank you for your Freedom of Information enquiry.
1. You have asked for the names ranks/grades of all employees of the TSA who are Common Purpose 'graduates'.
2. The total expenditure by the TSA on Common Purpose courses for each year since 1997 to date together with a copy of the invoice for each Common Purpose course paid for by the TSA.
By way of background the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) is the regulator of social housing and came into existence on 1 December 2008 as one of the two bodies which succeeded the Housing Corporation. The other body is the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
1. We have checked and found no records which indicate that any current employees of the TSA are Common Purpose 'graduates'.
2. We have identified expenditure on Common Purpose training by the Housing Corporation dating back to 2002 at a total cost of £9,752.50. Any information from before 2002 is no longer available as it has been destroyed in accordance with our Retention Policy.
The expenditure was as follows: Fiscal year 2002/03 £705 and £4,406.25
Fiscal year 2006/07 £4,641.25
We have no details relating to the sum of £705. The sum of £4,406.25 in 2002/03 was for training for a senior member of our London regulation team, while the sum of £4,641.25 in 2006/07 was for our Regional Director in the North West to attend the Common Purpose Greater Manchester Matrix Programme. Neither of these people currently work for the TSA.
The only invoice which we hold is the one for £4,641.25 from 2006/07. We only have a paper copy so if you would like us to send you a copy please provide us with a postal address.
I hope this information is useful to you.
