I made a freedom of information request, in writing, and the response is, I am vexatious and that they have had a large number of requests re Common Purpose in Cumbria. Mine was the ninth and they consider this, too many and a waste of resources. They also say, that my request obviously forms part of a campaign against Common Purpose, for this reason I have used this sight, in an attempt to obtain the information I need. I am a Retired Town Councilor of 17 years standing. I am quite alarmed at the speed in which our county has been taken into the control of a non democratically elected quango which is corrupt, punitive and in my opinion, extremely dangerous to decent law abiding citizens. Common Purpose graduates are behaving in a criminal way, punishing anyone who dares to inquire or complain about them. Who are these criminals??

Your comments are stupid and offensive. I do not wish this sort of thing posted on my FB page. I am deleting you from my friends list and putting a permanent block on you. Please do not attempt to contact me again for any reason whatsoever.

This is the way MP's think they can respond!! They do not serve the elected, they serve themselves and are very arrogant

Thank you for your e-mail, but the idea of Common Purpose as a sinister
subverting charity infiltrating levels of Government out of its ultimate aim
of seeking to replace democracy has been roundly dismissed as an
internet-based conspiracy theory.

Thought that some members of the public might be interested in an invitation I have just received from Common Purpose in Cumbria.

I wonder why they wish to speak to me?

Could it be that they are running scared and want to bully me into silence?

Here is the invitation:

Jo sent you a message.

Re: Common Purpose

Thanks Yvonne

Would you be interested in a conversation with our Director in Cumbria Anne
Catterson (you can contact her at anne.catterson@commonpurpose.org.uk)?

Can you recall which Common Purpose course you take part in (the name, location
and the year...and if you had a different name at the time)? I can put you in
contact with our alumni director, who can help you to reconnect with some of the
other people who took part.
