Dear Mr MacLean,
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received on the 23rd
June, regarding the training organisation Common Purpose.
You asked NHS South East Coast, the Strategic Health Authority (SHA) for
the region, to supply details of any expenditure on Common Purpose
courses for each year between 1997 and 2008.
NHS South East Coast was established on the 1st July 2006, following a
merger between the two former health authorities in the region, the
Surrey and Sussex SHA and Kent and Medway SHA.
No payments have been made to Common Purpose since the current SHA was
established on the 1st July 2006. Details of any expenditure on Common
Purpose courses which may have been made by the SHA's predecessor
organisations is not held by NHS South East Coast.
If you are unhappy with this response please let us know, giving your
reasons. It will then be considered by one of our executive directors
who will respond in writing. This letter will also include details about
how to contact the Information Commissioner.
I hope this information is helpful.
